Senior Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d) Finance and Spend Management

Position: Senior Solution Sales Executive (f/m/d) in Finance and Spend Management

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with account teams to drive solution-specific sales, focusing on SAP’s oCFO and Procurement products.
  • Apply domain expertise to address business challenges faced by CFOs and Chief Procurement Officers.
  • Present tailored solutions to Finance and Procurement stakeholders, leveraging resources to solve issues in areas like Financial Close, Tax Management, GRC, Sourcing, Category Management, Direct Procurement, Quote-to-Cash, and Working Capital Management.

Expectations and Tasks:

  • Generate demand, manage sales pipeline, and close opportunities.
  • Develop opportunity plans emphasizing solution value propositions.
  • Coordinate with the broader sales team on initiatives.
  • Manage relationships at solution and buying center levels.
  • Advance cloud migration opportunities, account expansion, and entry into new accounts.
  • Understand company operations, strategies, and processes.
  • Stay informed about competitors and their value drivers.
  • Utilize SAP’s experts and industry insights to meet customer needs.
  • Encourage customer participation in SAP communities, programs, and events.
  • Collaborate with the partner ecosystem.

What you bring:

  • Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and gain trust with C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English.
  • Effective team collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience in contracts and negotiations.
  • Experience in driving renewals and supporting subscription-based services.
  • Over five years of success selling enterprise software, especially in Procurement, Finance, GRC, and order-to-cash SaaS solutions.
  • Previous experience in Procurement, Finance/AP, Treasury, or ERP software sales.
  • Skills in digital and social selling techniques for demand generation.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, management, information systems, finance, procurement, or related fields.
