New Vehicle Sales Manager - Melbourne

Job Responsibilities

To oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales Department, including preparing monthly management reports, managing expenditure and budgets, and mentoring sales consultants.

  1. Identify and prospect new retail customers within our primary marketing area.
  2. Understand customers' objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making processes.
  3. Build rapport and develop long-term business relationships.
  4. Lead all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to delivery, and assist less experienced sales consultants.
  5. Promote a selection of company products and services, including Car Care, Finance, and Insurance.
  6. Attend industry events and meetings as required.

Experience

  • Previous automotive sales management experience with demonstrated leadership skills within a retail environment.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to oversee departmental operations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to utilize databases effectively.
  • Professional approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate sales staff to meet targets.
