Job Description:

This is your chance. To reinforce our team within the Power Sensors & Systems Division, we are looking for a Product Validation Engineer. In your new job you will:

1. Measure Infineon components in motor drives, battery protection, and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, DCDC Buck Converters, Brick Converters for Telecom, SMPS for Servers/Telecom, and Adapters.
2. Perform tests of leading-edge devices on specially designed boards to support the development and optimization of new technologies.
3. Carry out competitor benchmarking, organize and analyze data, and generate test reports.
4. Act as technical support for the product definition engineering team to validate products' value proposition in customer systems during development projects.
5. Contribute to peer reviews of internal development documents.
6. Create new application test setups (design of application test boards) including test automation.
7. Assist Product Application Engineering in writing Application notes, layout, and board design.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

1. A Bachelor degree from a university / university of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering or comparable.
2. 1-3 years proven hands-on work experience in electrical engineering laboratory environment, including using lab equipment.
3. Profound knowledge of semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs, preferable.
4. Experience in analysis of measurement data and presentation of results for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Capability to work independently and provide guidance for teammates.
6. Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab, PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer).
7. MS Office skills.
8. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
9. Capability to provide regular, concise project updates to team members, stakeholders, and PL management.
10. Excellent English and ideally basic German skills.
