Job Description

As an Implementation Services Engineer, you will take full responsibility for the execution of highly complex implementation projects in the data center environment. You will coordinate internal and external interfaces, monitor the quality of delivered services, and ensure that our standards are consistently met.

Your Responsibilities

1. Act as the main point of contact for suppliers and subcontractors during project execution and for technical and operational inquiries.
2. Perform tests and commissioning of installations, including final acceptance.
3. Document work steps and maintain systems in accordance with internal guidelines.
4. Adjust project plans to optimize milestone and resource management.
5. Coordinate handover processes to internal teams.
6. Evaluate and optimize future requests in alignment with internal stakeholders.
7. Handle special projects assigned by the Manager Implementation Service.

Your Qualifications

1. Completed technical education, e.g., technical college (HTL) or apprenticeship in electrical engineering.
2. At least 5 years of professional experience in a critical environment or in a similar implementation/engineering role.
3. Experience coordinating subcontractors and working with clients.
4. Solid knowledge of electrical systems and customer installations.
5. Basic knowledge of data cabling, especially fiber optics and/or network technology.
6. Proficiency in AutoCAD for adjusting technical plans.
7. Confident handling of Microsoft Office.
8. German and English (spoken & written) at B2 level.
