We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Business Developer Trainee to join our Finance & Corporate Development team. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals at the beginning of their professional journey who are eager to grow their skills in business analysis, project coordination, and financial control. The role is structured as a training ground for future business developers, offering comprehensive exposure to strategic projects and cross-functional collaboration. You will support ongoing initiatives, perform analytical tasks, and gradually develop expertise to take on more responsibility over time.

Your areas of responsibility

  • Project Assistance: Contribute to the execution of small-scale projects and support the coordination of larger strategic initiatives.
  • Analytical Support: Use tools like Google Sheets, Notion workspaces to analyze data, prepare reports, and help track key business metrics, KPIs, and presentations for strategic decision-making
  • Process & Performance Tracking: Assist in maintaining dashboards, controlling tools, and performance monitoring processes.
  • Research & Insight Generation: Conduct market, competitor, and internal research to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Operational Support: Provide administrative and documentation support for financial reviews, audits, and advisory projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, interpret, and communicate insights.

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills and high proficiency with Google Sheets (or Excel).
  • A proactive learner with the ambition to grow into a full business developer role.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken in English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Vienna or Berlin (hybrid work model supported).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Salary: The salary for this position starts at 2.400,- €. However, your actual wage depends on your professional experience and qualifications. We are open to overpayment for experience.
