Junior Procurement and Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d)

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team in Vienna as soon as possible.
YOUR ROLE:
In this role, you will support the procurement and logistics processes of our solar street lighting products and ensure the efficient flow of goods and services within our supply chain.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in coordinating the procurement of technical products, raw materials, supplies, and services as needed.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Connect with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Support the logistics team in organizing transportation, shipping, and delivery of products.
- Maintain and update procurement and logistics documentation, including purchase orders, delivery schedules, etc.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement and logistics activities.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on procurement and logistics performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that procurement and logistics processes align with operational needs.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Procurement & Logistics Manager.
YOUR QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- If coming from a commercial background - high affinity for technology and good technical understanding.
- Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
- Experience in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, is an advantage.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in technical procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Good understanding of procurement and logistics processes and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.

The minimum annual salary (based on the Austrian Collective Agreement) amounts to some € 38,000. The actual salary is higher and is aligned to professional experience and qualification.
