The Position
Based at the Virginia site in Queensland, this newly created Quality Leadrole has been established to support ongoing growth and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, this is a pivotal 2IC position, working across both the original business and the newly acquired operations. You will be the bridge between teams, helping to embed best practices in quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to internal and external quality and regulatory standards across the site
• Support ISO 9001 compliance, lead audits, and assist with external audit requirements
• Train and coach staff in GMP, compliance, and quality principles to promote a strong quality culture
• Oversee QA systems, including batch release testing and lab equipment calibration
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
• Analyse quality data to identify trends and drive process improvements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support and lead quality-related projects and initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Background in a quality assurance role within manufacturing or production
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, and GLP standards
• Experience conducting audits, driving root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coach cross-functional teams
• A continuous improvement mindset and hands-on approach to problem-solving
