You are a passionate Linux System Engineer and bring a keen interest in innovative technology and cloud services.Are you a dedicated person who enjoys working independently and is highly quality-conscious? If so, you are the right person for this position at Anexia.

#PROFILE

As a Senior Linux System Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the ongoing optimization and management of our server infrastructure for high-availability solutions.Your main tasks will be the design of solution concepts for our customers, internal projects, and in-house products. You’ll also be responsible for hardening the security of all the systems managed by you in line with best practices and internal guidelines. You’ll respond to security holes and downtime notifications independently and be responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance windows, in consultation with the customer.Further tasks will include diagnostic analyses and troubleshooting for core systems and customer projects, as well as the creation and regular updating of system documentation.Your input and ideas will contribute to the success of our company and prove to be particular important as you carry out a wide variety of challenging tasks.If you’re a team player, you’ll particularly enjoy working as part of our motivated, agile team.

• Qualification and professional experience in a similar position
• Expertise in the administration of common Linux distributions (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)
• Keen understanding of IT security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and analysis skills
• Systematic and analytical thinking and a solution-oriented, independent working method
• Team player and strong customer and service focus

First-rate German and good level of English
