About the role:
As a Quality Specialist, you will support the Quality area of Distribution and Sales for Austria in all aspects of Quality Assurance in accordance with Austrian regulations and Takeda. You will report to the Manager, Quality Assurance.
How you will contribute:
- Manage electronic document management and training systems as the LOC administrator.
- Maintain the LOC QMS, including coordinating Gap Assessments of global processes.
- Create and maintain local SOPs and other quality documents (e.g., contracts, quality agreements).
- Support local deviations, CAPAs, escalations, and field corrective actions.
- Handle local quality surveillance activities such as returns, market actions, complaints, inquiries, and customer qualification.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Assist in preparing monthly LOC Quality reports.
- Support health authority communications regarding product quality issues affecting Austria.
- Promote enterprise thinking, innovation, and trust-building to serve patients better.
- Participate in LOC and GQ projects as assigned by the Line Manager.
What you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or health sciences field (biotech, pharma, chemistry, biology).
- Experience in pharmaceutical companies over the last 3 years, with exposure to audits.
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships, challenge thinking constructively, and work collaboratively.
- A lifelong learning mindset and ownership of personal development.
