Data Engineer II, Davengers

As a data engineer at AEE, you will:

• Design, implement, and support an analytical data infrastructure serving both business intelligence and machine learning applications.
• Manage AWS resources including EC2, Redshift, EMR, Spark, etc.
• Collaborate with applied scientists to integrate and build data pipelines for machine learning models.
• Work with Product Managers, Financial, and Business Analysts to ensure best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Interface with technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and AWS big data tools.
• Explore and adopt the latest AWS technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency.
• Collaborate on implementing advanced analytics algorithms for statistical analysis, prediction, clustering, and machine learning.
• Improve reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 4+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
• Proficiency with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles.
• Experience with non-relational databases and data stores such as object storage, document stores, graph databases, or column-family stores.
