Job Description:

Our client is an established and successful food production company headquartered in Vienna. With a strong growth strategy encompassing both organic growth and strategic acquisitions, the company is in a phase of dynamic expansion. To harness these growth opportunities to the fullest, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to establish and optimize supply chain processes across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

1. You will develop and implement a long-term supply chain strategy that supports the company's growth and efficiency.
2. You will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective coordination of the transportation of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products between various locations and customers.
3. You will optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing storage costs and improving warehouse processes.
4. Monitoring and optimizing the entire material flow, from procurement to production supply, to avoid bottlenecks and reduce costs, will be part of your responsibilities.
5. Additionally, you will coordinate supply chain activities across multiple locations and ensure smooth operations.
6. Your duties will also include maintaining relationships with suppliers and developing partnerships to ensure the quality and availability of raw materials.
7. You will monitor and control supply chain costs to ensure they align with company goals.
8. With the company's growth, you will build a capable supply chain team and foster the development of existing and new staff.

Requirements:

1. You have several years of experience in supply chain management in the food industry.
2. You possess a deep understanding of transportation management, warehousing, and materials management in the food industry.
3. Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to develop innovative solutions are your strengths.
4. You have a strong hands-on mentality and a willingness to actively engage in operational processes.
5. You have fluent English skills and ideally also knowledge of Czech or Slovak.
6. Excellent communication and leadership skills set you apart.
7. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are key.
8. Willingness to travel regularly within Central Europe to the locations is required.
