We are seeking a results-driven Chief Technology Officer (f/m/x) who ensures Enspired's technology stack is future-proof, scalable, and reliable to achieve our strategic goals. In this role, you will be the head of our Software Development Teams.

Driving operational excellence in battery storage

As our Chief Technology Officer, you:

• Ensure platform reliability and security: Uphold high software quality standards by taking ownership of maintaining a robust, secure, and high-quality platform.
• Maximize operational efficiency through automation: Champion automation to reduce repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency, enabling the team to focus on high-value activities.
• Drive efficient use of development resources: Ensure effective utilization of development teams, maintain a well-communicated product and technology roadmap, and foster a positive engineering culture.
• Execute technology strategy to achieve business goals: Implement technology initiatives effectively to meet strategic objectives, driving measurable progress and tangible outcomes.
• Build a culture of excellence: Foster a team culture that values innovation, ownership, and growth, guiding developers to excel.
• Deliver ambitious goals with precision and urgency: Translate business priorities into technology, align the team with market demands, and inspire results even in complex situations.

Requirements

How you fit into Enspired:

• Bring a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related role, preferably in energy, financial, or commodity trading sectors.
• Have led a team of experts before.
• Proven experience in 24/7 low latency architectures is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo, drive technological improvements, and manage resources effectively.
• Showcase a track record of executing technology strategies that align with business objectives and foster growth and scalability.
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, promoting collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
• Be based in or near Vienna, or be open to relocating.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Be a curious person with a good sense of humor.
