Role Overview

We are seeking a technology development engineer to drive innovations at the technology, device, and system level, shaping the next generations of High-Voltage Power MOSFETs within a global team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology in power semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Develop new voltage classes and expand the functionality of existing products.
• Support the ramp-up and yield learning phases of new technology platforms like CoolMOS or CoolSiC alongside the process integration team.
• Collaborate closely with production management, unit process, and process integration engineers at FAB Villach.
• Develop new MOSFET generations, defining features with TCAD and application experts.
• Establish unit process requirements aligned with the technology roadmap with process development engineers.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate process experiments, including statistical DoEs, ensuring process stability.
• Implement improvements related to cost, yield, and stability through change management and technology projects.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in technology development or process integration.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
• Proficiency in statistics and design of experiments.
• Project management experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MOSFET technologies and Infineon's product portfolio is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills; basic German skills or willingness to learn are preferred.
