Your New Role
As the EPMO Business Partner, your role will involve promote best practices in project management across DV’s Housing, Civic, and Precincts Group, ensuring strong governance and reporting at both the project and program levels. The role also involves close collaboration with Senior Directors and project teams to ensure that project controls are consistently integrated across all projects. Your responsibilities include delivering top-notch reporting, offering strategic advisory support, and collaborating with project teams to optimise delivery efficiency.
- Support the adoption and implementation of the Project Management Framework (PMF);
- Conducting project assurance processes including Stage Gatereview, Health Checks, Deep Dives and Lessons Learned based on documented standards;
- Support the alignment of projects with corporate objectives and strategic imperatives;
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities within the EPMO’s service delivery model and value-add initiatives;
- Facilitate and support the implementation of best practice project delivery processes including project scheduling, cost control, risk & issue management and document control in line with DV’s approved frameworks;
About You
We are seeking a confident professional with strong stakeholder management and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and self-driven, with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, take initiative, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment. They will be skilled in producing high-quality reports, offering strategic advisory support, and collaborating with project teams to drive delivery efficiency.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery and have a broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
- Experience in working in a Government Project Management Office.
- A strong knowledge of Project Management Framework including Project Governance and Reporting Frameworks and processes.
- Strong capacity to foster and develop relationships with key stakeholders at senior levels across all sectors of government and industry.
- Proven experience in project and program performance reporting in project controls and delivery environments including project scheduling, cost control and forecasting and risk management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
