This position offers a challenging opportunity to lead cloud-native software development and architecture in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee complex cloud-native software solutions using modern technologies and frameworks such as Microprofile, Quarkus, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Ensure alignment and integration with the existing IT landscape and client IT roadmaps.
• Take technical responsibility for one or more feature teams and advise clients and project teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Support pre-sales activities and contribute to cloud-related sales efforts.
• Proactively share expertise within professional communities and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in web application development with frameworks like Microprofile, Quarkus, JEE, or Spring Boot.
• Experience in designing and building complex systems and architectures.
• Leadership experience in guiding development teams and assuming technical responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Experience with microservice architectures, containerization, serverless computing, and API management.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
