Senior Independent Validation Specialist (f/m/x)
The Group Risk Data Integration team ensures compliance with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's (BCBS) principles for risk data aggregation and reporting. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in risk management, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.

Your role at RBI
- Independently validate the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of risk data aggregation capabilities and risk reporting practices.
- Ensure compliance with BCBS 239 principles, relevant regulatory standards, and internal regulations.
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of the bank’s methods, processes, and systems related to risk data aggregation and reporting.
- Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide preventive guidance for the future.
- Provide regular detailed reports to keep senior management and other stakeholders informed about the compliance efforts and progress.
Your core competencies
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification (e.g., FRM, CFA) is of advantage.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role within a banking or financial institution.
- Extensive knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and other relevant banking regulations.
- Demonstrated Business Analytical Know-how with strong Technical Proficiency.
- Understanding of Modern Architecture Principles in a banking context.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing and interpreting complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
