Job Description:

In 2016, STMicroelectronics opened a site in Graz, Austria. This site is the NFC Readers and UWB Competence center of the MDG Group in STMicroelectronics, responsible for Marketing, Product Management, and Application Development for NFC-Reader ICs. To support the HW Application team, internship positions for HW Application Engineering are available.

Responsibilities include:

• Measurement of electrical and RF parameters
• Preparation and execution of RF performance and standard compliance tests
• Soldering activities
• Design and manufacturing of mechanical setups
• PCB development and validation
• Writing of technical documentation and test reports

Profile:

• Soldering skills
• Experience in PCB schematics and layout design, ideally using Altium
• Knowledge of RF Measurement techniques
• Knowledge of NFC is an advantage
• Knowledge of mechanical design
• Knowledge of SW development is an advantage (e.g., C, C++, C# or scripting languages like Python)
• Experience in MS Office
• Good English skills for working with multi-national teams
