Project Account Manager

SIG is enforcing the Project team. We are looking for a Project Account Manager to join our European team, reporting to the Head of Project.

Role Overview: As Project Account Manager, you will be independently responsible for the project execution of new opportunities within our portfolio, collaborating with different departments and the customer from initiation to completion. This position is based in Saalfelden, Austria, covering projects for customers in Austria and other European countries.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cost calculation of filling line projects
2. Supporting Key Account Management in sales pitches and offer & contract preparation
3. Ordering all required equipment
4. Preparing all technical documents (layout, planning, etc.)
5. Ensuring good and transparent communication and coordination to resolve all technical issues with involved stakeholders, building and strengthening relationships
6. Steering internal & external kick-off meetings
7. Overseeing installation, commissioning, testing, and handover/deployment
8. Taking full ownership of project-related topics and resolving issues promptly for a proper handover to After-Sales, escalating when necessary
9. Adhering to On Time In Full (OTIF) principles
10. Travel up to 50% as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical university degree (preferably Dairy Engineer/Food Technologist)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management
• Fluent in German and English; knowledge of additional European languages like French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus
