About the Service
At Lady Gowrie Child Centres, we prioritise flexibility, professionalism, and collaboration, alongside a strong commitment to continuous professional development. We believe that fostering positive, inclusive, and responsive relationships with children, families, and the broader community is essential. As a community-based service, we operate from 7:30 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday.
About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood professional to join our team at at one of our Spring Hill Child Centres in January 2025. We are seeking a Centre Director/Service Manager for a full-time role (with RDO), supported by a Service Administrator and our Central Support Office.

The ideal candidates will possess
- Previous experience in a Centre Director or Service Manager role
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s qualification in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards one)
- A current Blue Card and up-to-date First Aid/CPR certification, including asthma and anaphylaxis
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, Early Childhood Education and Care Legislation, and the Assessment and Rating process
- Experience in creating engaging educational programs that promote children's learning and development
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with children, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline
- Demonstrated leadership, including mentoring staff and collaborating with colleagues in the ECEC sector
- A commitment to continuous professional learning and personal growth.
