We are recruiting for a Senior Commercial Sales and Bid Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Austria. This position offers an excellent career opportunity for professionals eager to join a truly international team working on one of Siemens Mobility's major projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial and commercial activities during project acquisition, including contract analysis, cost calculation, cash flow projections, business models, taxation, financing, currency management, risk assessment, bonds, payment terms, credit ratings, insurances, export control, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with specialist departments and regional offices to prepare comprehensive, competitive offers.
  • Analyze customer requests and tender documents, develop bidding strategies, and conduct contract negotiations until contract signing.
  • Present offers and complex issues transparently to executive management.
  • Prepare Letter of Acceptance (LoA) documentation and meetings; provide regular bid status reports.
  • Negotiate Terms & Conditions and consortium contracts with customers and partners, respecting authority limits.
  • Support the Sales team with various business models and sales activities.
  • Perform sales data analysis to inform decisions on reach, customers, pricing, and markets.
  • Provide timely, qualitative updates on bid projects and sales activities to ensure transparency and enable management to take appropriate actions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar commercial role within a project-driven environment, preferably in the railway sector.
  • Strong knowledge of controlling and reporting; proficient in SAP and related tools.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken. Additional skills in Slavic and Romance languages are a plus.
  • Team-oriented and business-minded.
  • Experience in cross-country collaboration and resilience in dynamic sales environments.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to rapid changes, and skilled in multitasking.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Siemens Project Management certification is advantageous.

Siemens offers competitive social benefits and an attractive salary package, with a gross annual minimum of EUR 69,914, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position is available immediately. We look forward to your application.
