Job Description

An international environment focused on hydro projects. Reporting to the Group Insurance Director, the candidate should possess key technical skills including:

1. Liability Insurance Line Management: managing global master general and professional liability policies, coordinating local and project policies, collaborating with brokers and insurers, managing complex liability claims, and maximizing coverage.
2. Cyber Insurance Line Management: renewing and placing global cyber insurance policies, collaborating with IT and brokers, overseeing underwriting, and leading the cyber incident response team.
3. Risk Management: analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures.
4. Contract Review: analyzing and negotiating customer insurance requirements in EPC contracts to ensure alignment with insurance programs.
5. M&A: soliciting quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyzing offers, and facilitating insurance processes.

Qualifications

• Preferably legal education with a focus on common law.
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance, litigation, and the insurance market.
• Ability to work in a global setting, including international travel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Independent, precise, with problem-solving skills, team spirit, and commitment.
• Global focus and adaptability.

Additional Details

Fully remote position with potential business trips within the EU and US.
Salary: €60,000 - €85,000 + MBO up to 15% + benefits.
No people management responsibilities.
