The Role

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Associate Director, Business Systems to lead a high-performing team and oversee core corporate services including finance, workforce, procurement, business systems, and facilities management. Reporting to the Executive Director, Systems and Strategy, this role supports key decision-making and drives business excellence across the agency.

Responsibilities

• Lead agency-wide financial planning, forecasting, modelling, reporting, and compliance
• Oversee workforce systems, HR operations, and internal capability development
• Manage procurement frameworks, contract compliance, and government reporting
• Deliver robust business systems and audit processes aligned with strategic goals
• Provide high-level advice to Executive Leadership and government stakeholders
• Manage and develop a team of professionals across corporate service areas

You

You are a senior leader with:

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, or economics (CA/CPA preferred)
• Extensive experience in financial strategy, HR systems, procurement, and audit within complex organisations
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A values-based leadership approach and commitment to public service improvement
