Are you ready to take on a position that elevates the standard of care for older Australians? As the Care Manager - QLD, you will be integral to our Brisbane and Gold Coast team.

Our Home Care team provides tailored care and support to our residents across our communities in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Our villages throughout Tarragindi, Mount Warren Park, Cleveland, Wellington Point and Burleigh are home to our residents, all of which offer a sense of community and unique lifestyle.

This is not a hybrid role - you will be working at least 3 days per week at our Brisbane villages and at least 1 day per week at the Gold Coast.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in our incentive program, with a performance-based incentive starting at 10% of their remuneration package on offer after 1, 3 and 5 years of service.

About The Position

Your primary focus will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support services and products to RetireAustralia’s residents with assessed or identified needs. In this position, you will be required to work across our 4 Brisbane and 1 Gold Coast villages. This exciting opportunity will be an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do. Through your compassion and understanding of the industry, you will be able to actively listen to our residents and their perspectives to build these relationships. This will allow you to use a holistic approach to meet the specialised needs of our residents.

You will have a collaborative and close working relationship with Village Managers and collaborate across the company to provide our residents with the highest quality of care. Building and maintaining a relationship with our residents and their families is vital.

Reporting to the Regional Care Manager, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Management of Care resources and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, organisational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify leads and liaise for resident transfers.
  • Build rapport with local businesses, medical providers, and community groups.
  • Educate residents and their families on health needs, promoting self-care and independence.
  • Record all compliments, complaints, and concerns, and escalate as needed to protect safety, reputation, or financial performance.
  • Providing guidance and support to a team of Case Managers, RN/ENs and Carers.
  • Visiting our villages across Brisbane and the Gold Coast (car allowance on offer).

We’re on the lookout for someone with:

  • Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Current registration to practice with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in aged care.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care and Home Care legislation.
  • Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport.
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
