In thinking, planning and acting strategically, the Head of Junior School facilitates continuous improvement of The Riverina Anglican College.


School Overview
The Riverina Anglican College (TRAC) is a Co-Educational Anglican IB World School located in Wagga Wagga catering for students in Preparatory to Year 12, with current enrolments of over 1000 students.

TRAC aims to be an exceptional learning community in all regards. Our focus is to nurture student potential, foster sound personal values, encourage an understanding and acceptance of spiritual and moral foundations and provide an imaginative and enjoyable environment for learning. We passionately believe that enjoyment of learning and the wellbeing of our students and staff must be central to our mission.


Your role
The Head of Junior School is responsible for the provision of educational and organisational leadership for Years P - 6. The role entails effective day to day leadership and management of the Junior School and oversight of the academic, engagement and wellbeing of Junior School students, families and staff.

The Head of Junior School supports and enhances the development of the school’s K - 12 focus in all areas of school life and works closely with the Senior Executive on curriculum, wellbeing, management and operational matters. A close working relationship will also exist between the College Chaplain, College Counsellor and the Head of Students with Additional Needs (SWANS.)

The successful applicant will:

• be a suitably qualified leader, who has a love of young people and is keen to be an active part of the growth and development of The Riverina Anglican College
• have a passion for their craft and a desire to be part of a professional learning community
• be a professional image of a lifelong learner, active in their Christian faith and involved in their local community church.
