We are looking to hire a Lead Delivery Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD Leadership) to join our global Technology team. This is a challenging, fast-paced, and exciting environment with plenty of opportunities to influence and grow the technology area.

Role Description

This role is critical in shaping and guiding the technical strategy and execution of platform engineering efforts, with a focus on modernizing infrastructure, scaling CI/CD capabilities, and championing engineering excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate has deep experience in cloud-native platforms, infrastructure as code, and automation, paired with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Delivery Engineering Team

Delivery Engineering is an internal platform team focused on building and improving systems to accelerate software and infrastructure delivery. Our primary target is enabling DevOps practices to impact processes and culture positively. The team aims to build the 'Golden Path' to production by automating bottlenecks such as integration points and handoffs, working closely with development teams to improve pipelines and delivery practices. We are also reviewing the possibility of becoming a fully supportive On-Call operational team.

The Lead Delivery Engineer (DevOps & CI/CD Leadership) will act as a technical mentor and cross-team enabler, driving reliability, alignment, and innovation in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing scalable delivery platforms and CI/CD pipelines
• Mentoring junior and mid-level engineers; fostering continuous learning
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to align platform capabilities with delivery needs
• Leading technical initiatives and migrations to modern platforms (e.g., Jenkins to GitLab-CI)
• Ensuring high standards in platform reliability, developer experience, security, capacity, and performance
• Supporting hiring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing
• Assisting in incident management and embedding operational excellence
• Championing cost awareness, observability, and performance optimization
• Enhancing team skills and setting quality benchmarks
• Promoting non-functional requirements like monitoring, alerting, and logging

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in senior/lead roles in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Proven leadership in engineering projects and teams
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (OCI, GCP) and Kubernetes ecosystems
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, FluxCD), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible), Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Track record of platform modernization and process improvement
• Strong scripting/coding skills (Bash, Golang)
• Knowledge of security, SRE principles, and cost optimization in cloud environments
• Proficiency in Linux troubleshooting and platform tooling
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
