Duties & Responsibility

The Plant Product Manager manages the entire product lifecycle of the assigned product group. Developing and implementing sustainable product innovations and optimizing the product portfolio are key tasks of this role. The Plant Product Manager acts as the main interface between customers, production, and sales, bringing customers' ideas to life. Additional duties include:

  1. Providing support to clients and sales teams, both internally and externally
  2. Driving and finalizing projects within the designated segment
  3. Collaborating with machinery and film suppliers
  4. Improving existing product specifications and implementing sustainable innovations
  5. Managing costs and driving continuous product cost improvements
  6. Conducting market intelligence studies
  7. Translating customer specifications into internal documents and defining production and quality plans
  8. Supporting customer claims management in cooperation with quality management
  9. Collaborating with production to resolve key technical issues for customers

Technical Attributes:

  1. Technical education (Bachelor's or equivalent) or hands-on experience in a technical role
  2. Interest in the flexible or rigid packaging industry
  3. Practical experience in project management
  4. Fluent in English and German, both oral and written
