Business Development Manager - Mining

Generous base salary with OTE of $200k +

Our client is a well-established, best-in-class manufacturer and supplier of cutting-edge online product measurement and analysis equipment to the global mining, mineral processing, power generation, steel, cement production, and food industries. With an outstanding reputation for quality, results, and excellence in field service and support, they have become the leading supplier in Australia, with a large proportion of their equipment exported to the US, Canada, South America, Asia, and Europe.

Due to current and planned growth over the next several years, we are seeking candidates for the roles of Business Development Manager for their West Coast (Perth) and East Coast (Brisbane) operations. There will be significant support from marketing, commercial, and technical resources to help develop and drive new business opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

1. A successful track record in establishing and driving new solution sales in the mining sector and a solid, established network.
2. Genuine interest and strong knowledge of mining and mining production technology.
3. Adaptability and flexibility to the challenges of being part of a medium-sized, growing business with a global reach.
4. Driven to meet objectives and targets, a self-starter capable of maintaining enthusiasm and energy.
5. An excellent team player who builds strong relationships internally with technical and delivery teams, as well as externally with clients.
6. Willingness to spend regular time in the field and in the office to drive business strategy and outcomes.
