Your future responsibilities

Join our innovative Wireless Communication Team and shape the future of Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technologies!

We are looking for a motivated team member to support and drive research and development in cutting-edge communication and sensing systems.

1. Developing concepts for communication and sensing with using UWB and future technologies
2. Setting up and running lab experiments in UWB
3. Conducting research and development in UWB-based sensing and communication
4. Collaborating closely with customers in Graz and Linz
5. Independently working on embedded programming projects
6. Contributing to cutting-edge applications in communication and IoT
7. Initiating and leading new projects and collaborations with industry and public funding programs (HE, FFG, Chips JU, ...)
8. Presenting scientific results in technical documentation and/or high-level journals
9. Participating in international conferences and contributing to IP generation and technical innovation

Your profile

1. PhD degree in relevant fields such as electronics or communications
2. At least 3 years of work experience
3. Hands-on experience in setting up complex experiments and working in lab environments
4. Proficiency in C/C++, Python, embedded systems, and hardware-level programming
5. Practical knowledge in UWB sensing and communication, both in application and development
6. Strong background in communication theory and its application to connect IoT with UWB and future communication systems such as 6G
7. Proficiency in English; German is an asset
8. Willingness to relocate to Austria and work from both sites Graz and Linz
