About the role
Rembrandt Living is seeking a dynamic and experienced WHS, Quality & Risk Manager to join our team. In this full-time, office-based role (Oaklands Park and Hillcrest), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of work health and safety, quality management, and risk mitigation across our Home Care, Residential (Rembrandt Court), Respite and Social Services. This role ensures the organisation operates within regulatory and accreditation standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and service excellence. The role is pivotal in embedding best practices, fostering staff capability, and ensuring robust systems and procedures are in place across all operational areas.
What you'll be doing
- Develop, implement and continuously improve Rembrandt Living's WHS, quality and risk management systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
- Manage systems for feedback, complaints, compliments, and suggestions to enhance service delivery
- Maintain and review policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current legislation and best practice
- Coordinate accreditation audits, internal quality reviews, and organisational surveys
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks
- Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Lead the development and delivery of targeted training programs for staff
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to promote a positive safety culture
- Develop and maintain all relevant documentation including WHS plans, quality manuals, audit schedules, and continuous improvement registers
- Maintain WHS knowledge relevant to aged care services and identify workplace hazards and risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to the senior leadership team
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Substantial experience in a similar WHS, quality or risk management role, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing WHS, quality and risk management systems
- Experience in managing accreditation processes (e.g., Aged Care Quality Standards, ISO, QIC, HACCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in data analysis and report writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
