Salary Range Band 6 $95,799 - $104,420 plus 11.5% super(pro rata if part time)

Do you love leading and developing teams that provide important administrative support across a range of regulatory services? We are looking for someone to provide support to the Manager Safety and Amenity and lead a small team of business support officers across the department.
Safety and Amenity has a diverse collection of functions including public health, local laws and animal management, city permits, parking enforcement and appeals and planning compliance.
This role would suit a pro-active and solutions focused person who has a passion for building and developing teams and thrives on supporting the delivery of regulatory services for the community.
We have a passionate and driven team who all work together to deliver outcomes that positively benefit our community.
1 x full-time permanent or equivalent part time role.
Deliver high level executive support for the Manager Safety and Amenity and the department.
Support a team of Business Support Officers to deliver a range of administrative functions for the department.
Collaborate with key staff across the organisation to share and identify better practices, training and development needs, and coordinate support activities.
Experience providing high level administration support to senior management.
Experience leading, developing and supervising team members with high workloads across a range of time sensitive projects and tasks.
Experience managing customer expectations and relationships, dealing with difficult stakeholders and negotiating agreed solutions or similar experience.
Degree or diploma in Administration, Business Management, or other relevant discipline and relevant experience in a similar environment; or lesser formal qualifications with more extensive relevant experience.
