We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Data Analyst to join a growing team in Vienna. In this role, you will work at the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy—helping unlock insights using advanced cloud-based analytics platforms and tools. Your ability to manipulate, analyze, and visualize complex data will directly impact key decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across their departments to understand data needs and translate business questions into analytical requirements
• Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports using Power BI
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries on large-scale relational databases
• Work with modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to source, transform, and manage data
• Leverage technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric to build scalable data pipelines and conduct advanced analytics
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance in all reporting and analytical processes
• Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server)
• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI and a deep understanding of data visualization best practices
• Experience working with one or more cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with data engineering and analytics tools like Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and professional proficiency in English
