We are urgently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Vienna, VA, and Wilmington, DE. Please review the job description below and send us suitable profiles:

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Locations: Vienna, VA, and Wilmington, DE

Duration: 09 Months Plus

Visa: Independent Consultant Only

End Client: Confidential till resume selection

Note: Candidate should have solid experience in coding with Java, Python, or Groovy.

Responsibilities include:

• Technical design and development of multiple components of shared enterprise applications and software.
• Writing high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation.
• Performing complex engineering activities for performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support.
• Implementing, maintaining, and updating CI/CD pipelines to support the 'Build Your Own' mandate.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• At least 3 years of full-stack programming experience: Java, Spring Boot, JMeter
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies: AWS (Lambda, EC2, IAM, Security Groups, RDS, DynamoDB, ALB, ECS), OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform

Additional Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with Build and CI/CD tools: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Groovy, Nexus, or Sonar
• 4+ years of experience with Quality Assurance tools: ATDD, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, SoapUI, Postman
• 4+ years of experience in Unix Shell Scripting
• Certification in Java, Spring, or AWS technologies
• Exposure to Data Management methodologies
