Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader to step into a newly created Group General Manager – Silos & Sheds role at Ahrens Group, driving growth both nationally and internationally. As a key member of the executive team and reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Group General Manager will lead and oversee the strategic, operational, and financial performance of Ahrens’ silo and shed divisions.
This role will be responsible for driving the division’s national expansion by implementing advanced IT systems, exploring growth opportunities, and executing a strategic plan to achieve sustainable business development. This includes growth through acquisitions, partnerships, or establishing greenfield operations to strengthen the division’s market position and footprint.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate must have tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines, as well as proven executive leadership experience, particularly in successfully leading businesses through acquisition and greenfield expansion. Ahrens is seeking a strategic and self-motivated leader with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and financial management skills. Candidates with a strong growth mindset, business acumen, and experience in implementing ERP systems and driving operational efficiency are highly desirable for this role.
