Responsibilities:

• Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market needs to develop a competitive platform strategy aligned with customer demands.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and R&D to position the platform, prioritize customer requirements, and guide the roadmap.
• Develop business models, bundles, and pricing strategies for growth.
• Drive market opportunity pipeline and align product decisions with growth objectives.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships to enhance platform capabilities and adoption.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback and strengthen the ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in Software Engineering (embedded and cloud technologies) with a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in the automation industry.
• Expertise in software application lifecycle management and value creation.
• Deep understanding of automation industry needs, including software-mechatronics integration, deterministic behavior, low latency, and field bus communication.
• Experience collaborating with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives to align technology with customer value.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Knowledge of software business models, pricing strategies, and monetization in industrial automation (English required, German preferred).
