About

Our client is the Austrian subsidiary of an Asian technology group. The company is involved in expanding fiber optics in Austria and collaborates with major mobile communications providers.

Responsibilities

• Customer-facing support engineer in a vendor-network operator environment (on-site)
• Maintenance and support of voice and/or messaging core network elements in a cloud environment (network change operations, upgrades, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, etc.)
• Act as interface between network operator technical team and vendor level 3 support
• Provide technical support for mobile and fixed voice and messaging services
• On-call duty (if required)

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, electrical engineering/telecommunication, software engineering, or equivalent
• Solid IT background: hardware, IP networking, Linux, cloud technologies (OpenStack, containers) is a plus
• Experience in network support
• Knowledge of telecommunication protocols: ISUP, MAP, SIP, Diameter
• Knowledge of mobile and fixed voice core and messaging
• IMS architecture knowledge is beneficial
• Reliable team player in an international multicultural team
• Good communication and analytical skills

Salary and Benefits

Monthly gross salary from €3,500 to €5,000 (paid 14 times per year), depending on qualifications and experience.
