Job Description:

The position involves management and programme analysis, including the evaluation and promotion of best practices within the department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of best practices
  • Evaluation and promotion of departmental best practices

Finance-related duties include:

  • Understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)
  • Application of finance principles and practices, including developing and implementing financial and cash management policies
  • Financial analysis, interpretation of financial information, and presentation of options
  • Ensuring high accuracy in financial transactions and reporting

Administrative support requires proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database management.

Qualifications, Experience, and Language Skills:

  • University degree in public or business administration (BBA/BA) or related field
  • Minimum of five years of responsible experience in financial management, preferably in an international organization or public sector
  • At least three years of experience in budgeting, accounting, treasury, or finance
  • Knowledge of financial and budgetary procedures and techniques
  • Experience in data analytics and workflow improvements
  • Excellent drafting skills for clear, concise, and accurate documentation
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); knowledge of other IAEA official languages is an asset

Remuneration:

The IAEA offers an attractive package including a tax-free annual net salary starting at US $64,121, a variable post adjustment of approximately US $37,126, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses.
