Innovation Compliance Professional – Beverage Innovation

Fuschl, Österreich, Vollzeit

We are seeking an Innovation Compliance Professional to join our Beverage Innovation Department at the Red Bull Headquarters in Fuschl am See, Austria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, with an understanding of food science and technology, to interpret regulations relevant to our current and future portfolio.

This role involves supporting beverage innovation from inception to launch, including compliance assessments, regulatory document management, and data input for new raw materials and recipes. Collaboration with external suppliers will be essential for coordination and relationship-building.

You will be responsible for maintaining and improving process documentation and serving as a key user of PLM software. Additionally, you will research and interpret relevant global regulations, working closely with internal departments and external experts on compliance topics.

You will regularly update stakeholders on compliance and innovation topics, utilizing your communication skills to ensure effective information transfer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Compliance Knowledge: Creating, reviewing, and providing feedback on raw material and recipe information to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborating with beverage developers to meet compliance requirements from concept to market launch. Addressing complex compliance queries and monitoring global regulatory changes. Maintaining contact with internal teams and external resources to ensure adherence to evolving standards.
  2. Process and Project Management: Developing and improving processes to ensure product compliance and mitigate risks. Advising project teams on premarket regulatory requirements and packaging claims. Ensuring meticulous documentation of technical and compliance data to support compliance objectives.

EXPERIENCE

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Excellent English communication skills
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a food/drink compliance role
  • Knowledge of food science, nutrition, and food law (a Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in basic project management
  • Knowledge of recipe management/PLM systems is a plus
  • A logical, analytical, and structured approach to work

Travel requirements: 0-10%

Due to legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is €2303,00 gross per month.
