Our OneAgent software is actively deployed across millions of customer environments today, monitoring critical customer applications in various programming languages and platforms. The Node.js Code Module is a core part of the OneAgent and the Dynatrace Platform, responsible for automatic instrumentation of Node.js applications, enabling customer applications to run faster, more reliably, and securely.

This role involves implementing changes, improvements, and new features to our Node.js Agent – working primarily in C++ and Typescript.

Your role

1. Development of performance and availability monitoring solutions for Node.js applications (no Front-End development)
2. Analyzing and understanding the inner workings of common frameworks through debugging and interrogation
3. Design and implement new features independently (Feature Ownership)
4. Collaborate with local and international development teams
5. Contribute to open-source projects like OpenTelemetry, Node.js

Qualifications

1. Several years of C++ experience
2. Interest in exploring the hidden corners of Node.js (Google V8 runtime)
3. Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Functions)
4. Attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the entire ecosystem
5. Team player and eager to learn innovative technologies

Compensation and rewards
