Territory Manager - Neurovascular & Peripheral Vascular

As a Territory Manager, you will play an integral role in growing Penumbra's Neuro & Peripheral Vascular Solutions in Gold Coast, Queensland, by increasing sales and customer satisfaction within Australia and the APAC region. You will collaborate daily with the Country Manager and National Sales Manager to ensure superior customer service and optimal product use. Your goal will be to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

What You’ll Work On

  1. Develop relationships with existing hospitals, labs, and customers.
  2. Prospect and develop relationships with prospective customers, converting them to Penumbra solutions.
  3. Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to increase their usage of Penumbra products.
  4. Secure and renew orders by coordinating product availability, delivery, and inventory levels.
  5. Maintain open communication with current and prospective customers regarding programs, promotions, and pricing trends.
  6. Increase account penetration by actively promoting Penumbra's portfolio of products and solutions.
  7. Build relationships with physicians, lab staff, lab supervisors, and purchasing personnel.
  8. Travel as necessary for sales support and case support, including some travel outside the region.
  9. Complete special projects or assignments as requested.
  10. Stay updated on new Penumbra products or services and provide feedback on market reception and customer concerns.
  11. Maintain knowledge of competitive products, promotions, catalogs, and advertising for sales effectiveness and market intelligence.
  12. Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and Penumbra events; generate leads and follow up, providing summary reports to the ANZ marketing and management teams.
  13. Keep accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and sales reports, communicating as needed.

What You Contribute

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Biology, or related field with 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years in medical device sales, or equivalent.
  • Creativity and passion for innovation.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Working Conditions

General office environment with potential travel up to 30%. Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens and infectious materials. Ability to wear lead protective equipment for extended periods. Occasional on-call availability 24/7. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and computer use. Vision requirements include reading, close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
