Job Responsibilities

• Software Development: Develop features with attention to quality, testability, and maintainability, balancing quality with project timelines.
• Collaboration & Architecture: Work closely with your team and peers, contribute to software architecture, and participate in constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Operations: Take ownership of systems from development to production, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Market and Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, evaluate innovative solutions, and create prototypes for potential implementation.
• Business Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop feasible requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business goals.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in backend and frontend development using languages like Java, Kotlin, or Typescript.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Degree in Multimedia, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Spring, Liquibase, SQL/NoSQL databases, and database design.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies like React, NextJS, or Vue.
• Experience with test automation, TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools.
• Understanding of modern application architecture, scalability, resilience, caching, and API design.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and SaaS products like AWS, GitHub, Datadog, Akamai, or Cloudinary.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience working in virtual and mixed teams, including with outsourced partners.
