International Asset & Liability Professional (f/m/x)

In this position, you are responsible for steering the Asset & Liability Management (“ALM”) departments of “serviced” network units (“NWUs”), supporting their business strategies in liquidity and interest rate management, balance sheet planning, and stabilizing net interest income in a volatile interest rate environment. Additionally, you will identify synergy opportunities in collaboration with finance and risk controlling, and leverage Risk/Finance data to enhance the Group ALM strategy for greater value.

Your role at RBI

• Liquidity Management: Establish and oversee liquidity target ranges for NWUs, addressing liquidity gaps and surpluses, planning liquidity scenarios, developing contingency plans, and executing measures.
• NII Management: Support NWUs in creating strategies to stabilize Net Interest Income, considering interest rate movements, balance sheet developments, customer demand, and risks, formalized for approval.
• Liquidity and Funding Optimization: Analyze NWU balance sheets focusing on diversification, develop standards for risk models, and support hedging activities.
• Balance Sheet & NII Analysis: Collaborate on analyzing customer segments, identify synergy opportunities, and forecast NWU NII using simulation tools.
• Performance: Analyze performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies.
• Data Synergy: Find opportunities to reuse Risk/Finance data to add value to the ALM strategy.

Your core competencies

• Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, business administration, or equivalent
• Experience in Treasury, Risk Controlling, or similar roles in banking or financial services, with focus on interest rate risk management
• Strong analytical skills and market understanding
• Proficiency in SQL and risk systems like Kamakura, pro-MIS
• Excellent English communication skills and experience with complex organizations
