You will be a natural analytical thinker, taking big data sets and processing it through a range of tools to understand our clients assets in a whole new way. In this role your ability to drive and deliver next generation thinking will be showcased by providing strategic asset management strategies and functional solutions to our valued clients across the Transport industry including local and state governments and private sector.

This is a full-time role based in our Brisbane office within our Asset Performance team.

Main duties of the role

  • Understand clients’ key issues and work with them to create and innovative solutions to complex asset management issues
  • Use a range of Pavement and Asset Management systems to understand the key issues of client’s assets and provide tailored advice accordingly
  • Manage and deliver a range of asset projects not only in Brisbane but across Australia and New Zealand
  • Manipulate and translate large data sets using a range of platforms to produce the required outcomes
  • Review and provide advice on costing, maintenance and life cycle performance of products and solutions
  • Contribute to and develop tenders and proposals within the Asset Performance business group
About you
  • Seeking applicants with 5+ years’ experience and involvement in the transport industry with proven passion for asset management / maintenance / construction practices
  • Tertiary qualifications, degree or postgraduate in Civil Engineering, Asset Management Engineering or related engineering areas
  • Experienced in Pavement and Asset Management Systems with exposure to dTIMS, HDM4 or other industry tools, and asset management (or pavement management) information systems
  • Highly analytical thinker with high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL or other computer language to manipulate large dataset
  • Good understanding of GIS Systems/ software packages
  • Project management experience including stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
  • Detailed knowledge of performance modelling of road infrastructure
  • Australian Drivers Licence is required for this role
