About the Role

As a Global Sourcing Strategic Cost Expert, your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring cost optimization for projects within your product categories, considering total cost of ownership.
• Proactively monitoring and analyzing markets for best-cost sourcing.
• Collaborating with R&D and suppliers to optimize specifications and reduce costs through second sourcing strategies.
• Leading complex price negotiations and tenders, including benchmarking and e-auctions.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements along the global supply chain.
• Analyzing, controlling, and reporting on cost-saving initiatives.
• Conducting cost workshops with stakeholders and applying the results.
• Strategic collaboration with global ABB/B&R category teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
• Several years of relevant experience in international procurement.
• Strong market knowledge, especially in industrial manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of cost structure strategies.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP MM is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Diplomatic, assertive, with excellent negotiation skills.
• High responsibility, result-oriented, hands-on mentality.
