Aurora Energy is seeking a Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDTO) to join the executive leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, the CDTO will drive the delivery of Aurora Energy's Digital and Technology Strategic Roadmap, leveraging innovation and advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and sustainability outcomes. The CDTO will manage Aurora Energy's digital budget, embed innovation, and advance data governance and analytics capabilities. Providing strategic leadership to the Digital Operations and Transformation business unit (circa 45 staff), the CDTO will play a pivotal role in leading the technology transformation across the organisation. A key focus for the role will be to lead the development and delivery of the strategic priorities, ensuring the IT and Digital strategies are future-oriented, customer-centric and aligned with the organisation's strategic and operational objectives. The role will partner with the CEO, executive leadership team and senior leaders to identify opportunities for process optimisation and operational excellence through the use of technology.

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced strategic transformation leader, with experience leading IT/Digital Technology functions within a large, complex, customer-focused organisations. You will have proven experience driving customer-centric digital solutions, with consideration for regulatory requirements and appreciation for emerging technologies and digital trends. You will be highly regarded for your ability to lead and inspire cross functional teams, with the ability to engage with the executive group and key stakeholders across an organisation to deeply understand key drivers and ensure strategic alignment in organisational objectives.

Recognised for your people centred leadership, commercial acumen, innovative thinking and emotional intelligence to inspire, influence, and enhance capability across your team, you will operate as a collaborative business partner with your internal and external stakeholders. You are experienced in providing leadership as a change agent, leading the Aurora Energy technology strategy, execution, and operations. Experience in the energy sector or aligned government enterprise organisations would be highly regarded, not essential.
