We invite expressions of interest from talented individuals at ASO2 to ASO8 levels. We are seeking individuals with a proven background in administration/EA's/Project Officers/Payroll and Accounts Payable/Receivable who can operate in a fast paced and changing environment, add value through their strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement and display drive and initiative.

This is a great opportunity for those experienced in administration/senior administration roles to contribute significantly to the South Australian public service.

Requirements:

  • All applicants must possess a current National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 12 months).
  • Must be able to provide 2 satisfactory references.
  • Must have appropriate right to work in Australia.
  • These positions are temporary, providing flexibility and encompassing a diverse range of tasks, spanning from a few weeks to several months.
  • General Administration Support: Provide high quality, confidential, accurate, timely and professional administrative and logistical support to the executives, staff, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Travel Coordination: Management of branch finances and travel in line with allocated budgets.
  • Document Management: Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents, correspondence, and reports to a high standard.
  • Communication: Managing and prioritising emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of senior executives.
  • Meeting Support: Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and handling classified materials as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated proven expertise in administration/senior administration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, liaison and representational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the use of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high degree of discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of government processes and procedures (highly desirable).
