The Playford Hotel MGallery Collection offers a unique blend of iconic South Australian experiences in a luxurious setting. Originally built in 1998, it has recently undergone a multi-million-dollar refurbishment, including the award-winning Luma Restaurant, which has received global design awards and earned an AGFG Chef Hat for three consecutive years.

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for a full-time, permanent position.

The Role

At The Playford, we are 'relentlessly guest obsessed.' As Restaurant Manager, you will lead Luma, our Chef Hat restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, team leadership, and a refined dining environment.

You will leverage your knowledge of fine food and wine, uphold service standards, lead and motivate the front-of-house team, and manage operational needs relating to labour, product, and expenses. You will also develop quality standards, coach team members, and foster a positive workplace culture.

About You

  • Significant experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
  • Ability to work within budgets, control stock, and manage rosters
  • Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
  • Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent organization and ability to work under pressure
