Job Title: Regional Asset Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Regional Asset Manager to lead our asset strategy across Queensland and the Northern Territory. This strategic role involves ownership of the full asset lifecycle, ensuring optimal fleet performance and meeting financial and operational targets. You will foster relationships within the business and with external partners to maximize asset value through efficient management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regional asset planning, utilization, and performance optimization.
- Make data-driven decisions for the Northern region.
- Track KPIs to identify improvement areas and enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage asset registers and lease records in compliance with legislation and standards.
- Report on asset performance, risks, and financial impacts.
- Develop and manage regional budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee capital expenditure projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Analyze CAPEX proposals and conduct post-investment reviews.
- Provide insights to support pricing strategies and margin improvements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to maximize asset utilization and profitability.
- Strengthen supplier relationships and secure cost-effective procurement solutions.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Mentor and develop the Regional Asset Administrator and Assistant Asset Manager.
What we’re looking for:
- 7+ years proven experience in asset or fleet management, preferably in a regional or multi-site capacity.
- Strong financial acumen with a record of cost savings and margin improvements.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, analytical mindset with strategic and hands-on capabilities.
- Commercial awareness to identify opportunities for asset value enhancement.
