About the Role
Thanks to our High Tech, Indoor, GMP facility coming online, we are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Business-to-Business (B2B) sales manager to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives to drive growth within the medicinal cannabis market. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, your mission is to expand our market presence, build influential partnerships, and surpass key targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
A key focus will be targeting manufacturers and brands seeking high-quality GMP indoor cultivated cannabis. With existing brands and new entrants in this emerging market, Medcan is well-positioned to become a market leader. Experience or understanding of the cannabis sector would be advantageous.
Your Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Planning: Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts and budgets aligned with financial goals.
- Market Expansion: Identify new market segments and regions, devising and executing effective entry strategies.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services to effectively communicate their value.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors and adapt strategies to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
- Customer Insights: Collect and analyze feedback to improve offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Client Retention: Implement strategies for post-sale support to foster loyalty.
- Sales Performance: Track and report sales metrics to optimize strategies.
- Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders to promote growth.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to industry regulations.
