About the Role
As a Payroll Officer at Lucent Advisory, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services to a diverse client base across a range of industries. You’ll work directly with your own clients to ensure accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service, while also contributing to broader team initiatives including training, upskilling, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, from small businesses to large enterprises.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert guidance on payroll matters and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal HR and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support or lead Employment Hero (KeyPay) implementations and system configurations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement best practices in payroll operations.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience, with senior opportunities available for those with deeper expertise.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, modern awards, and the National Employment Standards (NES).
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based payroll systems.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and responsiveness.
- A solutions-focused approach and a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
- Employment Hero (KeyPay) experience is essential. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

Our head office is based in Adelaide, but this role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.
