Grove is seeking a strategic and action-oriented leader to oversee our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems across modular construction, manufacturing, transport, and hire operations.

This executive role reports directly to the CEO and is part of the Leadership Team. You will oversee compliance, governance, and risk functions, collaborating closely with operations and compliance teams to translate system insights into cultural and business improvements.

About the Role

This is a collaborative role involving all levels of the business—working with site teams, project leads, and senior executives to improve quality and safety, maintain ISO certifications, and develop future-ready systems.

You will lead a team of specialists in:

• Quality assurance & compliance
• Transport safety
• Workplace health & safety
• Environmental compliance and Social Procurement
• Systems architecture and process improvement

Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with compliance teams to identify risks and improvement opportunities
• Refining systems, frameworks, and reporting to meet ISO standards
• Driving cultural change to promote safety, accountability, and operational excellence

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading Grove’s HSEQ and systems strategy across divisions
• Maintaining ISO compliance (Quality, WHS, Environmental)
• Implementing field insights into practical safety, quality, and system improvements
• Developing and coaching a multidisciplinary compliance team
• Partnering with leadership to embed risk-aware, quality-driven decision-making
• Ensuring statutory and internal compliance
• Fostering a safety culture and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in senior compliance or systems roles (HSEQ Management, Compliance, etc.)
• Background in manufacturing, construction, or transport
• Leadership of multi-functional teams in safety, quality, and systems
• Deep knowledge of ISO frameworks and auditing
• Process-oriented mindset with ability to prioritize and see the big picture
• Comfort working from strategy to frontline problem-solving
